Why aren't more decent conservatives disgusted by Sarah Palin's dishonesty and hypocrisy?

Because Palin has shown what real conservatives rally around (i.e.) sarcasm, arrogance, mocking of others and their career choices. Conservatives by crowning Palin their darling and criticizing the press so aggressively has just made it easy for Palin to withdraw in a few days and blame it on the press. However in the mean time we have seen what real conservatives are all about. It's sad after the failure of the Bush/Cheney administration that conservatives are gasping at anything to promote their party.
