How much would it cost to groom this himalayan cat? help!?

I just picked up this himalayan cat off the streets and im looking to have all his hair shaved off. the problem is that his hair is RIDICULOUSLY matted. There isn't an inch of hair on this cat that isn't matted all the way down to its skin. i would expect that they would have to put the cat out for a few hours because it would be a real challenge doing it with him awake. parts of the fur are actually tearing off his skin because of how infused these mats are. i don't really know a lot about cats but seeing him suffer like this is killing me and id really appreciate it if someone would give me an accurate price on getting him fixed up.
