I think I am nearsighted. Am I?

Ok so lately I have been having trouble seeing the boards in my different cles. In mathematics and English I sit a little far from the boards and that is when it is hard for me to see. The words/#'s/letters get fuzzy, blend together or change into different words or numbers. It is so frustrating and I always have to ask my teachers if I can move up. Am I nearsighted? I am going to the eye doctor soon but I just want to know ahead of time. Thx.
