Challenger or Golf GTI??

My friend thinks that his friend's golf gti w/ an upgraded turbo, GIAC chip, CAI exhaust and a lil boost, can beat my dad's 1973 Dodge Challenger w/ a 360 crate motor with over 400 horses. i have no doubt in my mind that the challenger will win but i want to hear some other toughts
